WHM helps you to create and manage the cPanel accounts. The following tutorial will provide you step-by-step guidance to change the cPanel account password from the WHM panel.
- Login into your WHM account via URL https://IP_Address:2087.
- In the left side menu panel, search for Account Information and click on Lists Accounts. It will display all the cPanel account under your WHM panel.
- Expand the cPanel user by clicking on the + icon for which you want to reset the password.
- Enter the new password in the Change Password field and click on Change.
That's it. The new password is set for your cPanel and default FTP account.
